Shopping online with Harris Scarfe

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept payments online with the following credit or debit cards: Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We also accept Gift Cards, PayPal and offer AfterPay and Zip Pay as a payment method.

Can I pay using separate cards?

At the moment we only accept payments in full from one payment type. We don't currently have the facilities for partial payment between 2 different payment types or cards but are looking into this option in the near future.

Do you offer Lay-by online?

No, we don't offer lay-by online however we do offer lay-by in store. Please contact your nearest store for more information. A full list of Harris Scarfe stores can be found at our Store Locator page.

Do you accept gift cards online?

Yes, we do accept gift cards. Gift cards can be redeemed online and in-store.


Ordering Online

How do I place an order on Harrisscarfe.com.au?

You don't need an existing account with Harris Scarfe to shop with us online. Simple browse our website and if you find anything you like, add it to your shopping cart and then follow the checkout process. If you don't already have an existing account, we'll create one for you as part of the checkout process, all you need to do is pick a password at the end of your order.

Alternately, you can check out as a guest, simply add the items to your cart, choose Check Out Securely, enter your email address and choose to continue as guest. When you choose to check out as a guest, we won't save your details.

Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?

We strive to ensure that every credit card transaction occurs in a secure environment. All web pages on the Harris Scarfe website that handle sensitive information are secured with a 128-bit SSL security encryption with a certification awarded by Norton Security. What this means is that your personal information is safe with us.

To further protect our customers, we ensure that your credit card information is never stored on the website at any point during your transaction, rather, it is submitted directly to our bank via SecurePay, the same payment gateway supplier used by major Australian banks, government organisations and other major Australian Retailers.

Why is there a $1.00 transaction in my bank account from Harris Scarfe?

When an order is placed with Harris Scarfe online for the first time, our system will create a $1 pre authorisation to check that your payment details are correct. This appears as a $1.00 pending payment in your account. Please rest assured that this is not a charge and will be returned to your account within 7 days.


Harris Scarfe Value Plus Cards

Can I use my Harris Scarfe Value Plus Card online?

The Harris Scarfe Value Plus Credit Card has been a convenient and easy way to shop and pay for purchases at Harris Scarfe over many years. However, many customers now want flexibility via a variety of new payment options and are using their Value Plus Credit Card less and less. With fewer customers using the Value Plus Credit Card, it is no longer viable For Harris Scarfe to operate the program.

We have therefore taken the decision to close the Harris Scarfe Value Plus Credit Card program.

Effective 17 April 2023, the Harris Scarfe Value Plus Credit Card will no longer be accepted for payment for your purchases.

This applies to both in-store and online purchases. You will continue to receive your monthly statement with the balance payable in accordance with your Credit Contract.

What do I do if I have a Harris Scarfe Card query?

What happens to the balance owing on my account at 16 April 2023?

The balance on your account at 16 April 2023 is payable in accordance with the Value Plus Credit Card Terms & Conditions.

Will all current methods to pay my Account remain available? Can I still make a payment in a Harris Scarfe store?

Yes, all existing Payment methods remain available to you. You can continue to make payments at any register in all Harris Scarfe stores.

Will I continue to receive my Account Statement?

Yes, you will continue to receive your statement in accordance with the Value Plus Credit Card Term & Conditions. Please contact the Customer Care on 1300 131 444 if you want the convenience of receiving your statement via email.

Will Late Fees and Interest apply to my account after 16 April 2023?

Yes, Late Fees and Interest Charges will continue apply to your Account as per as per the Value Plus Credit Card Term & Conditions.

I have a Harris Scarfe Gift Card. How is it impacted by this change? Do I have to redeem the Gift Card before 16 April 2023?

There is no change to the Harris Scarfe Gift Card program. You can continue to purchase Harris Scarfe Gift Cards although you will no longer be able to charge them to your Value Plus Card. You can continue to redeem Gift Card for instore purchases until their expiry date (terms and conditions can be found on the back of your gift card).

Can I get a refund for purchases paid for with my Value Plus Credit Card after 16 April 2023?

Please return your purchase back to a Harris Scarfe for a refund to your Value Plus Account (Please note Harris Scarfe Refund Policy applies).

What happens if I have a Credit balance on my Account at 16 April 2023?

Contact Customer Care on 1300 131 444 and request a refund of your credit balance.

I have lost or damaged my Value Plus Card. Will I receive a replacement card?

Please contact the Customer Care on 1300 131 444 to report lost / stolen / damaged cards. Replacement Cards will not be issued after 16 April 2023. Please use your statement to make further payments of your account balance.
